The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently visiting the Fernie 2 Community Hall in Mpuluzi to render companies for the community.

SASSA might be rendering services like new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer care enquiries, along with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency claimed it really is alarmed with regard to the substantial number of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The aim of the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to some superior number of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is certainly because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no entirely functional office dedicated to service the area daily. The support place produced for intervention ordeals a substantial influx of likely beneficiaries, that makes it hard for the office to attend to all people who stop by a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise additional resources to permit the servicing of all clients and improve sassa status check access to Social Assistance companies,” the agency said.
